Spiritual Significance of the Dove:
The illustration on our Menu Page depicts a pure white dove flying across the Earth, wings spread wide, carrying an olive branch (also called the "Dove of Peace").
The pure white color symbolizes Purity in most cultures, and the olive branch is recognized worldwide as a symbol for Peace.

As a religious symbol, the dove has been an important part of our Judeo-Christian heritage, and has figured prominently in many other cultural and religious traditions around the world for thousands of years.

Many Jews, Christians, and others regard the dove as a harbinger of peace, good fortune, healing, and spiritual growth. The olive branch a dove brought back to Noah was proof of the end of the flood; a dove landing on the shoulder of Jesus identified the Messiah to John the Baptist. To many Christians today, the white dove indicates the presence of the Holy Spirit.
